My life is a multi-faceted tapestry, as I juggle roles as a mother, entrepreneur, and much more. Prior to the onset of COVID-19, my life was a whirlwind, constantly on the move. However, everything shifted dramatically in March 2020. Surprisingly, I've found solace in this slower pace, cherishing valuable moments with my family and embracing gratitude as a cornerstone of my life. My unwavering passion revolves around health and wellness. Over the years, I've witnessed friends and family confront various health challenges. My mission is to empower individuals and families to live their best lives by cultivating healthy habits and fostering optimal well-being. It's vital to recognize that our habits significantly influence our overall health, and we hold the reins to these habits. Let's embark on a shared journey towards enhanced health and wellness, supporting one another every step of the way!

Influence of Opportunities and Experiences on Habits

Our life experiences are shaped by the opportunities we encounter and those we actively seek and create for ourselves. These experiences play a significant role in molding our habits and ultimately defining who we are. Drawing from my background in social work and my perspective rooted in systems theory, I firmly believe that all aspects of our lives are interconnected. These connections extend to our personalities, our approaches to various situations, our interactions with people, our decision-making abilities, our health practices, and our overall outlook on life. To truly understand someone's current position, it's crucial to appreciate the path they've traveled to reach it.

My overarching approach to life revolves around the question: "How can we live optimally while being the best possible members of our family, community, and the world at large?" Central to this philosophy is the recognition that our experiences profoundly impact our lives. One particularly meaningful way my family and I cultivate these experiences is through travel. Travel, for us, is not merely about creating cherished memories and spending quality time together; it's also a powerful tool for gaining a broader perspective on life.

It's essential to grasp that as individuals, we are an integral part of a greater world. Each community we encounter possesses a unique culture shaped by its people, beliefs, language, cuisine, and geographical context. Our travel adventures are never solely about relaxation on a pristine beach. Don't get me wrong; we appreciate moments of relaxation, but anyone who knows us understands that we are constantly on the move, making the most of every minute, whether at home or abroad. While we do incorporate some "downtime" into our trips, everyone's definition of relaxation may vary.

Our family of four actively participates in planning our trips. We delve into researching the sights, flavors, and sounds of the region we intend to visit. Although it might appear glamorous to explore different parts of our state, country, and the world, our aim is not to have a "glamorous" vacation. Our mission is more profound.

The knowledge we gain from our travels surpasses what we could ever learn from textbooks or movies, although live videos nowadays come close. Our trips are meticulously planned to maximize our time and experiences, driven by my husband's mantra: "I am not an either-or kind of person, but an AND person!" Our travel experiences profoundly influence our perspective on life. Travel need not be daunting or expensive. Creative solutions abound to make travel possible for everyone. I wholeheartedly encourage all of you to pause and consider whether incorporating travel, in any form, is achievable for you and your family. Engage your family members in the planning process, as every member, regardless of age, can contribute in some capacity. The journey begins with the planning, and it forges deeper connections among family members.
